Creating a Dementia Friendly Home

We know your caregiving journey can be challenging in all kinds of ways. That’s why AARP Virginia and Insight Memory Care Center are delighted to invite you to our monthly Care Partner Class!   

For a person living with dementia, living at home can give you a sense of independence. By making some changes to your home, you can continue with the routines or activities you enjoy. Each of these changes can help you stay safe, active, and allow you to continue to enjoy your home. 

This class, which is not an AARP event, will be held in person in Fairfax, Virginia, as well as online for virtual viewers. Those attending virtually will be able to ask questions via the chat feature.

How to Join

You will be given the opportunity to select virtual or in-person attendance when you register here with the Insight Memory Care Center and will receive an email with a link to join the conversation before the event. Any information you provide on the host organization’s platform will be governed by its privacy policies.
