Home Health Care

Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center provides skilled nursing assessment, health care instructions, monitor medication use, wound care, monitor infusion therapy, other services ordered by the physician.



Referrals to the Home Health Agency can be made by anyone associated with the patient’s health needs. Referrals are evaluated to ensure they meet the admission criteria, which include being home bound and requiring skilled services. All in home care must be overseen and ordered by a physician and must be medically necessary and intermittent.
