Who We Are
Medical Clinics provide access to primary care for adults and children, sub-acute ambulatory care, health education and disease management. People of all ages who are low-income and uninsured, or covered by Medstar and Amerihealth are welcome. Low-cost, patient-centered primary care services and specialty services on-site are provided, including minor surgery, Gynecology, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Dermatology, Orthopedics, Acupuncture and referrals to other specialty services including Physical Therapy.
In addition to the general medical services, other programs offered include:
- Continuum of care for patients with diabetes, hypertension or cardiovascular disease is available.
- Medication Assistance Program assists patients in obtaining free/low cost medications through a variety of programs.
- Diabetic patients receive retinal eye exams pro bono through Little Sisters of the Sacred Heart and an onsite ophthalmologist for a small fee.
- Psychological support for patients to address stress, coping skills, PTSD and depression.
