Public housing, also known as subsidized housing or assisted housing, provides decent rental housing for eligible low-income families, the elderly and persons with disabilities. Housing ranges from single-family houses to high-rise apartments for seniors.
NRHA's Housing operations division administers apartments in 16 Norfolk neighborhoods and provides a variety of support services to help residents of public housing improve their lives.
