Who We Are

The York County Division of Housing is the local agency charged with administering federal and state rental subsidies, housing rehabilitation grants, and numerous other general and neighborhood housing programs.



The Housing Choice Voucher Rental Assistance Program (Section 8) uses federal funds to use for rental assistance for eligible very low income citizens.  People who qualify under these programs generally pay no more than 40% o their adjusted gross income in rent.
