Who We Are
The Montgomery County Health Department, part of the New River Health District, offers environmental health services. Environmental services include education, inspection, regulations, and enforcement services to protect the public's health. Health department staff make routine inspections and investigate complaints, review new or remodeling construction plans for regulated facilities, investigate rabies reports, and provide permits for septic systems and wells.
