Affordable Housing

FCHC Virginia Community Development Corporation is dedicated to expanding and improving housing opportunities in the City of Falls Church for low- and moderate-income households, with an emphasis on the needs of families with children, senior citizens and individuals with disabilities. 

This mission is accomplished by:  (1) by encouraging the preservation of multifamily rental units; (2) by sponsoring the development of new housing units to meet identified housing needs not addressed by the private sector; (3) by assisting in the improvement of existing single-family housing; (4) by promoting the effective use of local, state and federal programs and private resources in meeting the Falls Church housing needs; (5) and by fostering a better understanding of problems and solutions in the community.
