Family Medicine

Portsmouth Family Medicine is part of Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS).  The practices of EVMS Health Services are located throughout Hampton Roads, with most of the specialties having at least one location on the campus of Eastern Virginia Medical School.  At Portsmouth Family Medicine specialties are family medicine and geriatrics.



Family Practice performs geriatric, cognitive, ADL/IADL, functional, and medication assessments and checks for memory loss, vision and hearing loss, depression, anxiety, sensory impairment and screens for elder abuse and domestic violence.



Staff also provides physical exams, evaluation of osteoporosis, incontinence, fall risk and nutritional reviews.
