At Mount Rogers Community Services Board, the Grayson House assisted living facility is licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services offering residential care only for ten adults with mild or moderate disability. Residents must be ambulatory. The Grayson House meets the individual needs for social, recreational, and employment opportunities in a home-like environment. Most people who live at the Grayson House develop sufficient skills to move on to more independent living arrangements. Applicants to the program must be willing to work in a day job, job training, or educational placement.
