Who We Are
Clearview Behavaioral Health at Russell County Hospital is a 20-bed acute care psychiatric program for adults 18 and older, providing inpatient psychiatric care. Offers a wide range of therapies including medication management, group and individual psychotherapy, family support, education, therapeutic activities, and recreation. The Clearview inpatient unit:
- Provides short-term stabilization and treatment
- Offers a physician specialized in psychiatry and behavioral health and board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry
- Features a large multi-purpose treatment room, group therapy room, recreational therapy room and kitchen
Accepts referrals and takes admissions 24 hours daily
Located within the Russell County Medical Center. Specializes in short-term stabilization of patients with mental illness. Patients are accepted by voluntary referral, Temporary Detention Order, or by Involuntary Civil Commitment with approval.
