Who We Are
A program of Horizon Behavioral Health, Outpatient Services at the Courtland Center include individual, group and family therapy, the Intensive Substance Abuse Outpatient program, the Continuing Care program, the Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program, and HIV testing and education. The program's goal is to provide quality care that promotes the health, self-worth, and well being of individuals and their families in the least restrictive setting that is appropriate to their needs. Through the integration of mental health, substance abuse, and intellectual disability counseling services, the program meets its priority goal of outpatient services and serving consumers with co-occurring disorders in one setting.
Mental Health outpatient services include group and individual therapy for adults aged eighteen and older with mental health, intellectual, or substance abuse disability.
Substance abuse outpatient services include individual and group therapy services.
Mental health, substance abuse and dual diagnosis outpatient services are provided for adults aged eighteen and older who will benefit from any of the available levels of care.
