Center for Pastoral Counseling of Virginia (CPC) has an office at Saint Luke's Episcopal Church in Alexandria. Counseling is provided for individuals, groups, couples and families throughout the lifespan. Clients come from all faiths as well as those who embrace no faith tradition. Interfaith counseling uses holistic approach respecting spiritual and emotional needs and makes no attempts to convert.
CPC counselors work with clients on a variety of issues including but not limited to: anxiety * children * cross-cultural or racial identity * depression * eating disorders * older adults * family * relationship or marital issues * phobias * sexual, physical, or emotional abuse * spiritual development * substance abuse * terminal or chronic illness * women's issues * work or professional issues.
Entrance to the counseling center faces Fort Hunt Road. At the single door, come through, take the stairs all the way to the top floor (3rd). The Center's waiting room is at the end of the hallway. The Center’s waiting room is a brightly painted youth room mid-way down the hall, across from the water fountain. Restrooms are on the first floor only. An elevator is available, speak with the counselor for specific directions.
