Who We Are
The Virginia Department of Veterans' Affairs assists veterans and their families in obtaining State, Federal, and Local benefits to which they are entitled that they might not otherwise receive.
The Department acts as informed advocates in the preparation, presentations, and prosecution of all claims, and serves as a clearinghouse providing information and assistance that will enhance the veteran's quality of life.

Veterans will be seen Monday thru Friday by appointment only between 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Walk-in hours are from 1:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The office will be closed to the public on the last business day of the month. On Wednesdays, services are offered at the Martinsville Workforce Center from 9:30 AM thru 3:30 PM. The Center is located at 233 West Commonwealth Boulevard, Martinsville, Virginia 24112.
