Who We Are
Rockbridge Area Hospice is a licensed Medicare/Medicaid certified nonprofit hospice organization. Our mission is to treat, comfort and provide supportive care for terminally ill patients and their families to enable them to live life fully.
Services available include but are not limited to: the patient’ s personal physician; hospice physician (or medical director); nurse case managers; hospice aides; medical social workers; clergy or other counselors, trained volunteers; and speech, physical, and occupational therapists, if needed. Programs and complimentary therapies available include but are not limited to: grief and bereavement, music and memory, healing touch, massage, aromatherapy and essential oils,
We Honor Veterans program and a pre-hospice program called Connections.
Service area includes portions of Alleghany, Amherst, Augusta, Bath and Botetourt counties.
