Who We Are
Max Robinson Center provides primary medical care for anyone regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or HIV status. Medical providers have special expertise in treating chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, HIV and hepatitis B and C, and in general gynecology.
Examples of specific LGBT health services are affirming gynecological care for lesbians, bisexual women and certain transgender patients; screening for anal cancer in gay and bisexual men; STD screenings for all; hepatitis A and B vaccines; breast health initiative and more.
This Center provides HIV/AIDS services for residents living in southeast DC. Services include anonymous and confidential HIV testing, primary medical care, dental services, day treatment, HIV/AIDS support services and mental health and addiction treatment.
By Metro: Take the Green Line to the Anacostia Metro stop. When you come up from the Metro, turn left and go two blocks. The Max Robinson Center is located at the corner of Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue and Chicago Street, S.E.
By bus: The 90, P6 and P2 bus lines stop directly outside the Max Robinson Center.
