Who We Are

Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services offers homes for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.  Group homes provide congregate living arrangements to a small group of adults with recognized developmental disabilities.  Consumers receive primary care, which is comprised of room, board, and general supervision. In addition, they receive assistance training, and specialized supervision according to their individual support needs and preferences. Each resident is encouraged to be as independent as possible with daily living activities, hopefully to achieve an improved quality of life through integration in community activities.  The homes are located in the communities of Boston, Culpeper, Lignum, Locust Grove, Orange, Reva, Remington, and Warrenton.

For Intellectual Disability Intensive Residential Services, eligible individuals must be age 18 or over, have a diagnosis of intellectually disability, and have a Medicaid Intellectual Disability Waiver slot to cover the group home costs.

Contact Intellectual Disability Case Management Services at 540-825-3100 to schedule an intake appointment. After admission to Rappahannock-Rapidan CSB services, Intellectual Disability Case Management will refer eligible individuals.
