Beach House

Virginia Beach Community Services Board's Beach House is a clubhouse community providing psychiatric rehabilitation The program goals include enhancing members' quality of life and community integration while promoting personal dignity and independence.

Beach House attendance is voluntary. Members are free to come and go and to decide how they will use their clubhouse time. Members and staff work side by side to complete the unit activities that keep the clubhouse running smoothly. Units include:

• Clerical Services;
• Retail
• Food Services
• CORE (Community Opportunities through Recreation, Education and Employment);
• Transitional Employment Program (TEP);
• Supported Employment (SEP);
• Educational Services;
• Recreational Program;
• Social Program Services;
• Recovery Is Possible addiction meetings.

Beach House focuses on developing employment skills and relationships. Members are actively involved in the development of service plan goals and continue to work on these goals throughout their time at Beach House.
