Who We Are
S.A.V.E. Sight is an all-in-one program for your community service organization that provides materials for a leader and participants to conduct an adult vision risk assessment program. The S.A.V.E Sight program offers a comprehensive and “user friendly” S.A.V.E. Sight Staff Manual. The manual delivers a 30 minute “self-study” course on delivering an effective risk assessment. As well as providing program education, it reviews the questions on the Risk Assessment, the reasoning behind the questions, appropriate responses to frequently asked questions by assessment participants. The goals of the program are as follows:
- Assess individuals for potential adult vision problems including potentially blinding disorders such as; glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration, and cataracts.
- Educate the general public about the importance of good eye health.
- Encourage regular dilated eye exams.
- Provide resource information to the general public
