Who We Are

At Danville-Pittsylvania Community, Summer Respite Services allow children and youth time together during the summer for social and recreational activities.

Day Services covers the fee for eligible children ages six to 21 living in Pittsylvania County to attend the Summer Camp program at Stonewall Therapeutic Recreation Center.

The staff provides transportation to and from the campers’ homes to Stonewall Therapeutic Recreation Center. Campers enjoy a wide range of activities including swimming, movies, bowling, exercise and cultural events. Campers experience a variety of leisure and recreational activities while teaching life skills.
