Inpatient and Intensive Care

Novant Health UVA Health System, Culpeper Medical Center, is a 70-bed acute care facility with medical/surgical, stepdown and intensive care units. Patients are cared for by physicians, registered and licensed practical nurses, monitor technicians, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and others.



The Intensive care unit has 6 patient rooms; the stepdown unit offers caregivers an in-between stage to serve patients who do not require constant ICU care; the medical/surgical unit is used for individuals who need general hospital care for illness or post-operative care.
