Who We Are

At Prince William County Community Services, New Horizons Prevention Services provides an array of services related to youth at risk for behavioral health, substance use and co-occurring disorders. Services are provided in schools, agencies and other community locations. Services include:

  • presentations for youth, parents, professionals and other community groups;
  • consultation on designing, developing and implementing substance use or behavioral health prevention activities for youth, families, schools, coalitions and other community groups;
  • cultural diversity training and presentations for youth, parents, professionals and other community groups;
  • student support groups for at risk youth;
  • summer programs for youth;
  • staff development training and consultation on substance use, behavioral health and co-occurring disorders including cultural diversity and other related topics.
