The Virginia Beach Community Services Board's After-School Therapeutic Day Treatment (ASTDT) increases the social, educational and psychological development of children in elementary school, grades K-5 that have a behavioral health diagnosis. This model of service offers clinical intervention and supports children in the community with a focus on skill building. The After School Therapeutic Day Treatment classroom provides consistent structure and staff response to maximize behavioral and therapeutic potential for the child.
