In-Home Hospice Services, Harrisonburg

Legacy Hospice provides care for people with a life limiting illness in their home so the patient can be close to family and friends. Care is provided to all age groups during the final stages of life, including children, adults and the elderly.  You can choose your regular physician to direct your care.  Home means your house or apartment, friend's or relative' home, assisted living facility, nursing home, hospital or retirement community.

Legacy provides all clinical staff services, all medication for symptom control and pain relief, all needed medical equipment and respite care as needed.  Support from a nurse and a counselor is available to patients and families 24 hours a day. Grief counseling and support is available for all ages.

Care can be provided in assisted living facility or skilled nursing facility.
