Congregate Meals, Norton

Norton Parks and Recreation provides a congregate nutrition sites which serve a nutritious, hot, noontime meal. Each site offers a variety of activities, exercise, health education, health screenings, music, storytelling, quilting, and crafts. Current events and other topics of interest to older citizens are an important part of the program. These sites operate as part of Mountain Empire Older Citizen's (MEOC) Wellness Is Now (WIN) initiative. Most WIN Centers also provide community group respite service during regular hours of operation.



The meal site is open Monday and Friday at the Norton Community Center from 9:00AM until 1:00PM.
