Who We Are

The Patient Support Program at the Alan B. Pearson Regional Cancer Center was established to support patients with cancer who need help in paying their Centra medical expenses in the central Virginia area. The fund is designed to provide financial assistance to individuals whose family income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty level set forth by the Department of Health and Human Services.  If the family income is between 200% and 400%, a sliding scale fee may be available. You may apply by contacting customer service at (434) 200-3777, option 6, or complete a Financial Application.
