Rent Assistance

In collaboration with other area agencies and organizations, Lynchburg Community Action Group's Emergency Assistance Program (EACI) provides financial assistance to individuals and families faced with:

1. loss of a utility service.  The program offers one time per year voucher payments to providers of utility and fuel services such as electricity, water and gas.support as needed. 

2 actual eviction from their homes due to economic hardship.  In collaboration with other area agencies and organizations, the program also offers rental assistance to prevent eviction and provides relocation services. Tenant  must have an Eviction Notice from the landlord and provide proof of income for all household members.

Assistance is based on program availability.



Face-to-Face interviews are required for all applicants applying for Emergency Assistance.
