Who We Are

The Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS) provides an Eviction Prevention Program.  The Eviction Prevention Program is comprised of two housing services that provide emergency financial assistance to low and moderate-income households that are facing a housing crisis.

The Eviction Prevention Program includes the SHARE-HIP (Homeless Intervention Program), which provides assistance for rent, security deposits, and utility cut-off.

The HIP is funded by the State, and is administered in Arlington and Fairfax Counties. Case management services are a key component of the Eviction Prevention Program. Emergency financial assistance and case management services, offered through the Eviction Prevention Program, are provided to eligible Arlington and Fairfax County households.

Convenient to a bus. Partially accessible to persons with disabilities.
