Skilled Nursing Home

Life Care Center of New Market provides private, 24 hour skilled nursing and convalescent care for the elderly.  Other services include rehabilitation therapy and round-the-clock medical supervision and help with activities of daily living. Services include transportation to facility-based programs. Meals and hairstylist/barber on site. Services are open for participation by non-residents. Formal agreement with Rockingham Memorial Hospital, Shenandoah Memorial and Page Memorial Hospital. There may be a waiting list, but, generally we can fill a long term care bed from skilled unit. No fee to be on waiting list. We have recently added Hospice care through RMH Hospice.



Transportation is provided to residents to medical appointments in a van that can accommodate manual wheelchairs.  The vehicle is lift equipped.



Can accommodate deaf, blind, and persons with Alzheimer's disease or dementia.  Languages: American Sign Language (ASL). Capacity 118 beds.
