Emergency Medical Care

Emergency Services at Mary Washington Hospital offers full-service emergency care 24/7 for 365 days a year and has 50 treatment areas, making it one of the largest in Virginia. Emergency Department is staffed with experienced, Board-Certified emergency medicine physicians and critical care certified nurses. On site radiology and lab services and four intensive care units.



Mary Washington Hospital is now a Level II Trauma Center. Care is managed through RATED-ER, allowiong the physicians and nurses to care for the most critically ill patients while at the same time providing timely care for patients who can be treated and sent home.
