Health Department

The Carroll County Health Department, part of the Mount Rogers Health District and the Virginia Department of Health, seeks to achieve and maintain optimum personal and community health by emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention, and environmental protection.



Services include communicable disease control, family planning, health education and counseling, home health, hypertension screening, counseling and education, immunization clinic, maternal health program, tuberculosis testing, diagnosis and treatment, sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment, vital statistics, WIC Nutrition program, and personal care services.
