Who We Are
Campbell County Health Department is part of the Central Virginia Health District. The goals of the Health Department are to promote health, prevent disease and protect the environment. Services are provided in local health department clinics, schools, homes, and at other sites within the community. Fees are based on a sliding scale to individuals and children who are eligible. Services include:
- Clinics - Child Development, Communicable Disease Prevention & Control, Family Planning, HIV/AIDS Testing, Immunizations, Pregnancy Tests, STD Testing and Treatment, TB Screening, Well Child Clinic, Women, Infant and Children Nutrition
- Environmental Health Programs - Onsite Sewage & Water Program, Food Protection, Rabies Prevention, etc.
- Emergency Preparedness & Response
- Disease Prevention - elimination, prevention, and control of communicable diseases (HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, STDs, and tuberculosis)
