Who We Are
The Alzheimer's Association, National Capital Area, offers family education and caregiver workshops which are educational presentations designed to give current information to caregivers about Alzheimer's disease, various aspects of caregiving, coping strategies and community resources. The Alzheimer's Association offers a number of education programs that can help you understand what to expect so you can be prepared to meet the changes ahead and live well for as long as possible. Find an education program in your community or you can take our free online courses. Some programs may be virtual.
Education programs cover a variety of topics relating to memory loss and aging and are intended to help anyone with concerns or interest. Programs are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted. Call for information about programs at Event Search for current classes.
