Clinch Valley Medical Center, a Duke LifePoint hospital, offers medical services to include, but not limited to, the following: General Surgery, Emergency, Physical Therapy, Intensive Care, Cancer Care, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, and Heart & Vascular Services. Also offered are a Critical Care Nursery, Radiation Therapy, Obstetrics, Ultrasound, Oral Surgery.



The Medical Center offers a 24 hour emergency room which provides immediate care without an appointment. Medical care services include: radiation oncology, cardiac diagnostics, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, birthing suite, physicals and general medical treatment. Offers health education in the community. Has support groups for diabetics. Does not provide ambulance services. This facility has a 200 acute care beds service.



Hospital Social Services: Provides a Health Care Coordinator to aid with discharge planning for developmentally disabled persons age 18 and older. Must be referred by Dept. of Vocational Rehabilitation or the Mental Health/Mental Retardation Board. Provides referrals to outside community services, counseling, nursing home placement, financial counseling and referral.
