New Life Recovery Center, Substance Abuse

A program of New River Valley Community Services, New Life Recovery Center, located in Fairlawn, is a residential treatment facility for adults living with substance use disorders. Residents may also have co-occurring behavioral health disorders.

New Life clients receive a combination of evidence-based approaches to help them rebuild a functional lifestyle from that of active addiction.  Clients live in a 10-bed residential facility while receiving individual and group therapy, access to 12-step meetings, SMART recovery, peer support, and recovery-based education.The program focus is on building life skills, communication skills and emotional regulation skills including anger management. Family support is provided. Case management support is available for housing, employment and transportation needs during and after discharge.
