Intake Process
Call the Access Center or walk in at The Burrell Center, located at 611 McDowell Avenue, Roanoke, Virginia 24016. Children and youth may walk-in for screening without an appointment between 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday. There are extended walk-in hours for children and youth intakes on Tuesdays until 4:30 PM. The children and youth entrance to the Access Center is on the left side of the main Burrell Center building, highlighted by a Children’s Access Center sign. The adult entrance remains through the main Burrell doors in the center of the building.
