Southside Community Hospital DBA Centra Southside Community Hospital offers 116 beds and provides medical care to those in need regardless of age, sex, race, or religion. The patient population includes all ages, however, the predominant population is elderly with medical and surgical diagnosis. A nurse is on call 24 hours per day.



Services offered are anatomical and clinical laboratory, anesthesiology, cardiovascular diagnostic unit, case management, dialysis, emergency department, endocrinology, hematology/oncology clinic, home care services, hospitalist program, infusion clinic, intensive care unit, neurology, nuclear medicine, nutrition services, obstetrics, organ donation, otolaryngology, pharmacy, radiology, rehabilitation, sports medicine, respiratory therapy, surgery, same day surgery suite, and sleep laboratory and clinic.



The hospital offers many support groups.
