Who We Are
Southern Virginia Mental Health Institute is a psychiatric hospital that provides inpatient psychiatric services to persons age 18 to 65 residing in it's catchment area. Services include psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management, psychological assessment, group therapy, activity therapy, family education and community meetings.
Fees are determined by the ability of the client or the client's "significant others" to pay.
