Who We Are

The Housing Office administers the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development's Housing Choice Voucher Program, in Martinsville and Henry County, connecting Martinsville residents with safe, affordable housing by providing vouchers for low - income residents in need.   The purpose is to provide housing and rental assistance to low-income individuals.



The voucher program's waiting list is now closed. Announcements of the list opening are made through local media and through Martinsville Government Television, Comcast Channel 22.  You can also visit the website for information about the waiting list.

The Danville Redevelopment office now handles Housing Choice Vouchers for Martinsville and Henry County.  Please call 434) 792-5544
