Who We Are
Urban League of Hampton Roads offers a Health Outreach and Prevention Education Program. Outreach is targeted to the Hampton Roads community through strategies that consist of distributing literature, safer sex kits, safer sex training classes and interventions to include group, community health and educational projects.
A myriad of education and support services are provided to address health issues disproportionately impacting minority communities. These include diabetes, heart disease, childhood obesity and cancer.
