Who We Are

The Big Stone Gap Redevelopment and Housing Authority (BSGR&HA) administers a Section 8 housing voucher program.  The housing authority administers 124 Section 8 housing vouchers.  Check here for Income Eligibility



The housing authority participates in federal (Rural Development and HUD) rehabilitation, weatherization and rental assistance programs.



Call for information about low income housing, tax credit program and other subsidized housing in Wise County. 

Some of the low income apartments are Dogwood Terrace Apartments, Stonecrest, walker Rosa Apartments.  Call the Development Corporation at 423-467-3600 for other locations.
