Who We Are
The Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board offers supervised residential services, including group homes, to adults with a diagnosed developmental disability who sometimes require assistance to live in the community. The residential program provides consumers with a safe, secure, and supervised place to live. Residential counselors help those who have a place to live but need assistance with things like budgeting, menu planning, meal preparation, participating in community activities, using the bus system, keeping safe, and getting to appointments.
