The Emergency Department is an area of the hospital specially designed to treat patients who need immediate medical care and cannot wait to be seen by a private physician. The 24-hour emergency room is staffed by board-certified physicians, specialty trained nurses and other healthcare professionals and sees over 20,000 patients a year.
