Who We Are
Camp Easter Seals offers respite care in the home under the Community Skills Training and Personal Care program. Respite is a support that provides periodic relief for the family or primary caregiver of an individual by supervising and caring for that individual when the caregiver needs a break of the care giving responsibilities. Visit Locations where Respite is available.
Camp Easter Seals also offers respite care to parents and caregivers of children and adults with disabilities in the form of a camp. Camp provides an opportunity of children and adults with special needs to enjoy fun and challenging activities in a supportive and cooperative atmosphere. A variety of sessions are offered: Spring and Fall Weekend Respites to Summer Camp to Specialty Session. Each application is carefully reviewed.
This traditional camping program provides recreational opportunities designed to increase a camper's self-confidence as well as to challenge their physical capabilities through such physical activities as swimming, canoeing, arts, crafts, camp-outs and archery. Camp sessions run throughout the summer. Both children and adults are welcome.
