Who We Are
Poplar Springs Hospital, a TRICARE®-certified facility, is committed to providing a stigma-free treatment environment in an inpatient setting, specifically designed to meet the needs of active duty personnel, ages 18 and older, in all branches of the military.
Three specialized, extended-care treatment programs are offered for substance abuse and dependency, combat-related post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and dual diagnosis. The substance dependency treatment track focuses on recognition and understanding of the bio-psycho-social aspects of addiction as well as the development of relapse prevention skills. The PTSD treatment track focuses on the emotional and psychological effects of combat stress and post-deployment, adjustment-related issues. The dual diagnosis track addresses the treatment issues related to both substance abuse/dependency and PTSD.
