Who We Are

At District 19 Community Services Board, Atlantic House Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program is located in Emporia for consumers who experience behavioral health disabilities, developmental disabilities, or co-occurring disorders. Atlantic House provides services to consumers who reside in the Emporia and Greensville area. Consumers participate in psychoeducation groups, community integration, and pre-vocational activities.

Consumers and staff work together to develop and implement structured activities involved in the day-to-day operation of the programs. Recovery oriented services are an integral part of a continuum of care. Psychoeducational and behavioral interventions are provided in a setting in which the consumer's needs are addressed, skills training applied and recovery experienced. Referrals are accepted from providers who offer treatment to individuals with mental illness or co-occurring disorders.
