Every Woman's Life Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening

Spotsylvania County Health Department and Rappahannock Health District participate in the Every Woman's Life (EWL) program, a public health program that helps uninsured, low-income women gain access to free breast and cervical cancer screening services.  Screening and early detection reduce death rates and improve treatment options.

The Health Department hours are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday and Every Woman’s Life clinic hours are by appointment only and held on the first Monday of each month.
