Who We Are
The Homelessness Prevention Program and Rapid Rehousing Program (HPRP) began in 2009 through funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The aim is to prevent people who are facing homelessness from reaching the streets or to rapidly re-house those who are already homeless.
For further information about the HPRP contact Sam Gatewood at (703) 228-7830 or Leonard Carter at (703) 228-7864.
The Permanent Supportive Housing Program (PSH) provides housing and case management for individuals and veterans who suffer from mental illness and/or substance abuse and were chronically homeless prior to being placed in housing.
After clients are housed, PSH provides ongoing support to help clients retain housing through assistance with daily challenges, financial literacy training, assistance with budgeting, etc.
For further information about the PSH contact Ayana Bellamy at (703) 228-7840.
