Who We Are
Lions Camp Merrick offers the Glyndon Diabetes Camp/Program. Kids from the District of Columbia, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia are welcome. The mission of the camp is to serve not only the deaf but also visually impaired children those who are Type 1 Diabetic. The camp was expanded to include Camp Glyndon's and to jointly run a summer camp for children diagnosed with diabetes.
Also offered is a Family Diabetic Camp and Sibling Diabetic Camp for Type 1 Diabetic campers.
Camp Merrick is located on 320 acres of land in Charles County, Maryland. The summer camp programs promote education, creative expression and social growth of special needs youth.

Campers must be between the ages of 6 and 16 and deaf, blind or type 1 Diabetic.

Call the office, visit the website, email. Register early. Applications accepted on first come, first served basis. Application should be available in January
