Virginia Veteran and Family Support (VVFS) Program

Region Ten Community Services Board (RTCSB) offers the Virginia Veteran and Family Support (formerly Wounded Warrior Program) which is a partnership between the Virginia Department of Veterans Services and Community Service Boards throughout Virginia. This program is a resource for all Veterans, Reservists, Guards, and their families in Region I. This program provides  information, answers to questions, makes referrals, and assists in accessing Veteran's Affairs services. Additionally, this program  provides a weekly Veterans Support Group, and  offers public education facilitating access to treatment for military related PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), TBI ( Traumatic Brain Injury) and behavioral health and substance use issues.  All services provided by this program are free, as are most outside referrals. Visit the website for more information on this service.
