Ladrey Senior Highrise Apartments

The Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority (ARHA) operates the 90 unit Ladrey Senior Highrise Apartments located at 300 Wythe Street in Alexandria.  Services provided to the elderly through the Ladrey Senior program include health care, Medicaid/Medicare counseling, referrals, and social activities throughout the week.   Call to inquire about the waiting list, requirements and for more information.  

There is a Senior Center at Charles Houston Recreation Center, located within the Recreation Center that provides supportive services and resources to all individuals age 60 and older.  The Center encourages seniors to retain their independence through participation in community events, excursions, educational seminars, fitness and enrichment activities.
